FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze involving a shed and a caravan in Parkeston in the early hours of Wednesday.
Two crews from Dovercourt attended the scene in Foster Road at 3am and used jet and hose reels to tackle the fire.
The operation was hindered by gas cyclinders involved in the fire, but by 3.26am they had been vented and the fire was surrounded.
The the fire was put out just after 4am.
The Fire Service and the Police will carry out a joint investigation to determine the cause.
There were no reported casualties.
