ESSEX County Fire and Rescue Service were called out following a crash near Manningtree station.
The busy route between Manningtree and Brantham was blocked following the crash on Saturday, July 1.
It caused disruption along the A137.
As a result, there was traffic queued along the road and motorists suffered delays.
This crash was at the section where the road splits into an underpass and overpass by the level crossing.
In addition, there was also congestion towards Cattawade.
A spokesperson from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews were called to a road traffic collision on Station Road, Lawford, at 3.23pm yesterday afternoon (July 1).
"On arrival firefighters reported that two vehicles were involved, and no one was trapped. Firefighters assisted other emergency services to make the scene safe."
