A HORDE of witches from across the country gathered to curse the Dovercourt cat killer.

White witch Kev Carlyon lead a service with 19 other pagans which aimed to reveal who is behind cat poisonings which taken the lives of 50 cats in a year.

The pets have died from suspected anti-freeze poisoning.

Kev, who said cats are sacred to witches, was asked by an anonymous resident to work his magic.

He and his followers tapped into natural universal forces through simple rituals using incense, candles and a chalice of water to give them direction.
