A CHOIR will host free sing-along sessions for villagers with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Leading the classes, Harwich Tendring Sing Voices will have a number of paid-for sessions on the first Monday of the month at the Harwich Arts and Heritage centre between 2pm and 3.30 pm.
Free sessions will take place every second Friday of the month at St Michael and St Mary's Church, in Mistley with Manningtree, and are open to everyone thanks to sponsorship from Manningtree Dementia Support Group and Manningtree Town Council.
The session will be on Friday, November 11, between 10.30am and 12pm at Mistley Church Hall in New Road.
Free sessions sponsored by Harwich Town Council will also be hosted every third Wednesday of the month between 1.30pm and 3pm at the Park Pavilion in Harwich.
Clare Leach, the founder of Harwich Tendring Sing Voices, said: "Thank you to all who came along to previous sessions or helped spread the word and support.
"During our session on November 11, we will have a moment of remembrance at 11 am, and I will add several fitting songs to the plan so we can still show our respects.
"We don't want anyone missing out as free sing-a-long sessions are available to anyone."
