ACTORS are polishing their belt buckles and pulling on their boots ready for their annual village pantomime.
Brantham Amateur Theatrical Society is rehearsing it’s next show, Off To Treasure Island by Lisa Butler.
The swashbuckling tale is the group’s pantomime performance for 2019.
Set to be performed from February 20 to 23, it tells the story of two opposing ships’ crews with a script written especially for BATS to suit the group’s traditional style.
Angie Heath, from the group, said: “There is a mixed age cast of idle deckhands, glamorous principal boys and girls plus two beautiful dames, with singing, dancing, live music and typical jokes.
“Come along and have some fun at half-term with all the family.”
Performances are at 7.30pm each night with a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday February 23,.
Tickets for the shows are on sale at Bakes and Blossoms, Acacia Court, Brantham, or online at ticketsource.co.uk at £9 for adults and £6 for children.
