I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,
That we’ve lost our Grandpa, our friend and our dad.
Not only were you a father to our lovely mum,
But a fantastic husband to grandma who you shared so much fun.

You became more of a father figure to Matthew and I,
For when we lost our dad and time went by.
You told us off and praised us too,
But loved us loads which we both knew.

Matthew and I would just like to say,
We feel so lucky to have had Grandpa like you to this day.
For in our lives you have played so many special parts,
Those memories we will treasure and keep close to our hearts.

A Great grandpa he was and so happy to be,
For Georgina, Isabelle, Quinn and Archie.
For good times and smiles in all that of you shared,
To each of them you loved and that you cared.

Just one thing and if it is not too much fuss,
Please god take extra special care of our Grandpa as he is very dear to us.
Grandpa if you're listening say a prayer for us every day,
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way.

Grandpa would want us to know he’s in a good place,
And that his watching us all with a smile on his face..
