NICHOLLS Ben Tragically taken from us on 6th June 2024, aged 46 years. Beloved Husband and soulmate to Laura. A much loved Son, Son-in-Law, Grandson, Brother and Uncle. Cremation to be held at Seven Hills Crematorium, Ipswich, IP10 0FG on 11th July at 1:30pm. We would prefer no black. Please feel free to dress casually, football shirts (Liverpool) or something red would be acceptable. Wake to be held at Little Oakley Memorial Ground, CO12 5ED. Family flowers only. Donations to Essex Air Ambulance c/o Harwich & Dovercourt Independent Funeral Service.

Such sad news to receive. Ben was one of those people I chalked up as a ‘happy memory’ A smart guy with a quiet demeanour at first glance but underneath a quick and sharp wit which could be easily deployed. I still remember the delivery of his unique witticisms and they still make me smile.

I feel grateful and fortunate to have known him. A person in life I always considered a friend. He made the workplace more bearable as well!
