In Loving Memory of ATKINSON Anthony 3.5.1940 - 8.1.2011 Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. (Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die!) Tony passed away suddenly in Dewsbury on 8th January 2011. He was the dear Father of Deborah, Julie and Sarah, Grandad of Olivia, Emily, Georgina and Ellis, and Father-in-law to both Michael’s. He will be sadly missed and always in our thoughts. The funeral service will be held at the crematorium in his home town of Dewsbury on Thursday 20th January 2011 at 1pm. Everyone will be made welcome to pay their respects to a true character known well both in Dewsbury and Harwich. Donations in memory of Tony may be placed in the collection box at the crematorium or if preferred may be sent to George Brooke Ltd., Funeral Directors of Dewsbury for the benefit of Diabetes UK.
