MEDIA students got a taste of life in the music industry when they were tasked to create a band’s music video.
The sixth form students at Harwich and Dovercourt High School were given a brief, as part of their coursework, from Colchester based band F.O.X, formerly known as Angry Vs the Bear.
The students then had to research the band and analyse the debut single, Heart Full of Sharp Stones, before creating a suitable video and pitching their idea to the band.
Philippa Parks, head of media studies at the school, said: “It was absolutely fantastic.
“The band has chosen one to use but are keeping it a secret - they will play the video during their performance of their song at the Colchester Arts Centre on February 15.”
