A MANIFESTO for Tendring.
That’s what we are asking readers to help put together, setting out our challenge to politicians at Westminster for the next five years.
We hope a General Election manifesto for Tendring will outline the concerns and opportunities our readers think should be high on the minds of the party leaders and the candidates seeking your vote at the General Election on May 7.
We want suggestions from Standard readers about what you would like to see in the manifesto and what should be a priority for Tendring after the May election. It could be helping businesses prosper, educating our youth, the care and wellbeing of our elderly, improving our hospital and GP services, better broadband in rural areas, dualling the A120, the number of homes to be built in Tendring... it is up to our readers to decide what goes in the manifesto.
You can send in your suggestions for what should be included in the Manifesto for Tendring in the following ways:
- E-mailing hms.news@nqe.com
- Writing to Standard, 28 Jackson Road, Clacton, CO15 1QL
- Texting 80360 and starting your message with HMSNEWS
- Commenting on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages We will collate all our readers’ suggestions and, if necessary, ask readers to vote for what should be included in the Manifesto for Tendring.
