A fire at Harwich International Port was tackled in under ten minutes by firefighters.
Crews from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service were called to Parkeston Quay this morning, shortly after 5am after a tug vehicle caught fire.
The vehicle, which is used to put the containers on and off the boats was 25 per cent alight when crews arrived.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Firefighters managed to quickly extinguish the fire in under ten minutes.
"The cause of the fire was recorded as accidental."
