AN INCREDIBLE night of wrestling returns to Harwich at the Kingsway Hall.
The Wrestling League Champion, Harry Mant will face off against 15-year-old rising star, Charlie May in a huge bout that will test May’s ability against one of the best.
This non-title match is the School of Slam’s first fight night of the year.
Harry Mant will be looking to carry his momentum with him into 2019 coming out of a very impressive 2018 which saw nothing but success.
With nothing to lose and all to gain, Charlie May will want to kick off his new year in the right way with a huge upset victory, putting his name on the radar for a future championship opportunity.
The School of Slam general manager Gene Ric said: “This is a very exciting lineup for our for our first Friday Night SOS of the year.
“For some, the night will make or break a wrestlers year, no one will want to start by losing so everyone will be at their best.”
SOS champion, Xander will be forced to defend his title against not just one man, but five others.
This six way includes a dream lineup with Dexter, Mike Check, Corey McRae, Arron Warnes and Nick Payne all looking to steal the show and win the gold.
The odds are certainly against Xander, as this match is looking to be one of the most unpredictable and best matches of the year.
Mr Ric added: “Corey Mcrae and Mike Check will be looking to add to their collection of gold, whereas the other three men not want to let this great opportunity for the SOS Championship slip away.
“A match filled with current champions and former champions, those who have seen an SOS show before will know how big this is.
“The first Friday Night SOS of the year will be a wrestling show you will not want to miss.”
Tickets for the School of Slam Fight Night on Friday, January 25 are £5 in advance or £7.50 on the door.
Doors open at 6.30pm.
