AN up-and-coming author will be giving fans a chance to meet her at a special event.
Author J.V. Phaure is the writer behind Girl on the Beach and its sequel The Butterfly Trap.
The books are about Lucy Carter, a writer who leaves her abusive fiancé to start a new life on the coast and are set in Harwich and Wrabness.
Fans of the books will be able to meet J.V. Phaure at a special book launch at the Pier Hotel in Harwich.
Readers will also be able to enjoy food and gin and tonics from East Coast Distillery.
The event, which takes place on July 28, will be attended by the mayor and mayoress of Harwich, Ivan and Jo Henderson.
