Essex Police have thanked residents for their help after locating a missing man from Dovercourt.
Barry Smith, 77, has now been located safe and well.
A spokesman said: "Thank you for sharing our appeal to find a missing man from Dovercourt earlier today.
"We are pleased to report that Barry Smith has been found safe and well."
