FUNDED activity sessions will be taking place in Harwich at the end of December.
The lighthouse sports and social hub is working with Essex ActivAte and Essex County Council to offer these sessions.
Primary school children aged 5-11 who are in receipt of school meals are eligible for these activities.
There are also some places for families on low incomes and other family groups who may benefit from attending.
Activity co-ordinators will be at hand to keep the children entertained throughout the day, the workshops are designed for children of all abilities.
Every child attending will receive a hot meal, drinks, and snacks. Activities at the club include arts and crafts, cooking, fitness skating and basketball.
The activity organisers have asked parents to ensure that their child brings everything needed for the activities including trainers, jogging bottoms, a t-shirt, jumper, and coat.

The activities will take place at the lighthouse sports and social hub, lower marine parade, CO12 3ST, 10am to 3pm from Monday, December 27 to Thursday, December 30.
