A CHURCH has announced the events that will take place leading into the new year.
All Saints church in Great Oakley recently received grants allowing it to renovate and hold more events.
The Christmas carol service will be on Sunday, December 19 and a crib service is happening on Christmas eve at 4pm to re-enact the nativity.
Brian Willis, churchwarden at All Saints church said: “Children can come dressed in their own costumes or we will provide costumes for them.
“Later, we will have a midnight communion service at 11.30am on Christmas eve as well.
“Next year, the normal pattern of church services will resume. We will have communion on the first and third Sunday of each month.
“The second Sunday will have a 10am service geared towards families and an evening mix service also.
“The mix service will be very informal with videos, discussions, and cake and coffee available.
“Lastly, the fourth Sunday will not have communion and will be lay lead.”
