A FORMER gallery at the heart of a town is set to become housing under new plans.
The former Shakespeare House Gallery, in Dedham High Street, closed its doors in during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in May 2020.
The Grade II* listed building could now wholly be changed to a house after plans were submitted to change its use from an art gallery.
Since the gallery closed almost two years ago, it has reopened at the artist’s house in north Suffolk, however the Dedham site has laid empty.

Colchester Council has the final say.
