THERE IS an air of anticipation as a much-loved restaurant prepares to launch celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The Talbooth Restaurant in Dedham will be marking the occasion with a week of festivities starting this Sunday.
Visitors will be able to enjoy seven spectacular parties, with each one of them representing a different aspect of the Talbooth’s history.
From the Platinum Ball on the first night through to the Wine and Food Safari and Bordeaux Dinner, the celebrations will culminate next Saturday (May 7)in the V E Ball, when the Colchester Army Bank will be attending.
Throughout the week, the events will also be raising funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, which the national charity for the British Army.
