A PRESCHOOL has made positive strides after receiving the top rating in its most recent Ofsted inspection.
Wix and Wrabness Preschool was given an outstanding rating, an improvement on the ‘good’ rating awarded to the school at its last review in 2016.
In the report, inspectors praised the ‘enchanting environment’ and noted that the children are ‘extremely confident, excited and motivated learners.’
Carlene Stephen, manager at the preschool said: “We are absolutely delighted that our recent Ofsted inspection saw us graded Outstanding.
“Due to recent changes in the Early Years Foundation Stage it has become much harder for nurseries to achieve this top rating, so we are really proud to have achieved it across all four categories.
“We have all worked extremely hard over the last few years to continually improve our preschool and practice.
“This outcome is the result of all the hard work and it is a testament to the staff’s commitment to supporting all of our families and giving the children attending the very best start in their education.”
The preschool encourages its pupils to try different things with the children taking part in activities like Bollywood dancing to express themselves.
