THE final weekend of the Harwich Festival of the Arts will include a range of concerts, theatre and film.
St Nicholas Church will host folk music duo Vicki Swan and Jonny Dyer on Friday at 1pm, following which there will be award-winning jazz from Zoe Gilby at the Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre at 7.30pm.
Saturday will see two poignant performances of tabletop puppet play Kinder at the Harwich Arts & Heritage Centre at 11am and 2pm.
The evening show at the same venue comes from folk legend and top storyteller Reg Meuross at 7.30pm, who will be bringing his internationally-acclaimed show to Harwich for the first time.
A spokesman said: “We end this year’s festival on Sunday with a first public screening of Still – a moving short film by Gecko Theatre Group.
“The uplifting film focuses on the lives and characters of the residents at Lime Court Residential Home.”
The free screening will take place at Heritage Centre at 11am.
The finale will see a classical performance by the Argentinian Chavez twins at St Nicholas Church.
Art exhibitions will be open throughout the weekend at The Old Chapel, Esplanade Hall, Bodgeners Gallery and the Heritage Centre.
