TRAIN services have been cancelled due to heavy rain flooding railway lines causing all lines between two stations to be blocked.
The services running between Manningtree and Ipswich may be cancelled or revised and disruption is expected until further notice.
Network Rail has announced flooding has taken place at the Bentley Level Crossing between Manningtree and Ipswich meaning trains are unable to run between these stations.
A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: “Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption.
“Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
“If your journey with us has been delayed by 15 minutes or more, you may be entitled to compensation for a portion of your fare.
