A FESTIVAL is set to take place with musical performances and tributes to raise money for a charity.
TrafFest is set to take place at the Trafalgar pub in Harwich and all proceeds raised at the event will go towards Homestart Harwich.
Musical acts playing on the day are Harwich Sing, Ruby Poole, Sammy B, Steve Lingley, Chris and Paddy and Mike Carran.
A spokeswoman for the event said: “There will be a tombola, face painter for the children to enjoy, hair braiding and a pampering station, a cozy corner and silent disco.
“TrafFest merchandise will be on sale as well as a horse box selling savoury and sweet food.
“We hope to raise lots of money on the day and want to make TrafFest a yearly event to raise money for different charities.”
This event has proven to be hugely popular as the organisers have announced it is sold out of tickets.
A ticket was auctioned off and raised £50 for Homestart-Harwich and no tickets will be sold at the door on the day.
The event is set to take place at The Trafalgar pub in Main Road on Saturday, August 27.
