AN ancient hall will be opening its doors to the public as part of the free Heritage Open Days scheme.
The hall of Valley Farm in the hamlet of Flatford, will be open on Sunday, September 11, from 11am to 4pm.
The National Trust said visitors will be able to look up at the blackened rafters and see the huge inglenook fireplace and medieval staircase.
Each year places across the country, including select National Trusts sites, throw open their doors and give people the chance to see hidden places and try new experiences for free.
