ORGANISERS of Harwich's Guy Carnival are calling for volunteers to act as marshalls along the route.
The upcoming carnival, run by the Harwich and Dovercourt Rotary Club, will see a unique parade and competitions take place.
This year attendees are encouraged to take part in a selfie competition in which first place will win £20 and second and third place will win £10 and £5 respectively.
The carnival will take place on Saturday, October 29.
There is also a children’s fancy dress competition on the green at Ainger Road at 5.30pm on the day.
