AN award-winning theatre group is set to host a series of concerts as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
Manifest Theatre Group based in Oxford Road, Manningtree, will host a tribute show to the Queen and residents are invited to attend.
It comes after the group attended the North Essex Theatre Guild annual award show in September and walked away with the Terry Sadler Memorial Cup and the Norman Harris Adjudicator’s award for technical achievement.
A spokesman for the theatre group said: “While a delight for both directors, both these awards really highlight the fantastic work those offstage do in ensuring our audiences are made to feel welcome and immersed in our theatre upon visiting.
“As a nation we have mourned the loss of our Queen and our planned tribute to her majesty’s reign is even more poignant now.
“We do hope you join us in a celebratory tribute of music and comedy throughout the years sharing laughter and light heartedness together.”
Singing in the Reign is to be staged from November 1 to November 5 with an additional matinee performance on November 5.
