A VILLAGE is gearing up for Christmas with a mini market.
The market will take place in Tea At the Quay, Mistley with the support of Love Local.
It will feature 15 businesses that will be displaying their creations and Christmas gifts.
Chris Quilter and Matt Rozier, owners of Tea At the Quay, said: “We have been blown away by the support of the community to share contacts and go out of their way to help us put this event together.
“People have been very generous in lending decorations and lights, and offering their professional services to make this event magical for everyone in Mistley."
The coffee shop will be transformed into a mini market with stalls in the café, foyer and at the bottom of the entrance steps.
Tea At The Quay has undergone a Christmas transformation with the help of interior designer Danielle Rumble to bring the festive feeling and get visitors into the holiday spirit.
Santa will be paying a visit to the Christmas market at around 8pm thanks to Manningtree Rotary Club.
Entrance to the market is free, with stalls ranging from sweet treats and handmade gifts to clothing and even a Prosecco tuk-tuk.
The market will take place on Friday, December 9, between 5pm and 10pm.
