A KNITTING group is looking for new members to join in with its friendly work producing warm wear items for the community.
Pins and Needles meets at the Millennium Room in Harwich which is situated behind St Michael’s Church in Ramsey.
At the moment Pins and Needles is comprised of a small group of ladies who enjoy knitting, crochet, company and a cup of tea.
The group makes blankets for care homes, dressing gowns which are sent to charity Knit for Peace as well as hats and scarves for the Seaman’s Mission in Felixstowe.
A spokeswoman for the group said: “If you would like to come along, even just for the company, we would love to welcome you.
“Transport is no problem as we do have the local connections bus that picks ladies up from Bradfield, Harwich and Dovercourt who all enjoy a couple of hours with us. Do come along and meet us.”
The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2pm until 4pm in Ramsey.
