ORGANISERS of a table top sale which will honour an eco-friendly day have announced a venue change.
SATO Harwich will host the sale in honour of Global Recycle Day with the event open to sellers and buyers to trade useful items
Sellers will be able to purchase a table for £5 as they move on unwanted items.
A spokeswoman for SATO said: “By selling unwanted items, it saves more rubbish going to landfill that could take thousands of years to decompose.
“Your unwanted items may be someone else's treasure.
“We encourage everyone to come along, support Global Recycle Day, and make a difference to our planet by reducing waste.”
Customers can also make a donation with proceeds going to the North Essex Support Team (NEST)
Refreshments will be made available for attendees to enjoy and sellers are encouraged to pre-book their table online.
All sellers who pre-book their tables will be given priority and a table will be guaranteed.
The event was originally set to take place in Park Pavilion but has moved to Parkeston Railway Club in Hamilton Street.
It will take place on Saturday, March 18, to book a table call 07483 042928 or visit qrco.de/bdcpsk.
