AN internationally-renowned rock ‘n' roller will be hitting the right note at a gig in Harwich this weekend.
The band EEEM! will be play upstairs at The Crown Post, in Church Street, on Good Friday.
Drummer Eddie Edwards is still rocking a week after celebrating his 72nd birthday.
He is best known for being one-quarter of punk rockers The Vibrators, who produced singles such as Automatic Lover, Baby, Baby and Troops of Tomorrow through the 70s and 80s.
Landlord Dave Todd said: "Brightlingsea-based EEEM! come to Harwich fresh from playing the Mersea Scooter Rally last weekend and have earned rave reviews for their energetic live performances.
"Combining Edwards' vast experience on drums with the raw talent of Dazza on guitar, Cathy on bass and the Crown Post's very own Dave English on vocals, EEEM! will be playing a mixture of old favourites, new single Trigger's Broom and are sure to roll out a few Vibrators classics as well."
The band will be playing at the pub today, Friday, April 7, from 3pm.
