MEMBERS of veterans support groups visited a lush 150-acre woodland landscape which acts as a growing tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our country.
The Harwich Royal British Legion, Royal Naval and Merchant Navy Associations visited the National Memorial Arboretum on Sunday, April 16.
Crew members of the Falklands Memorial Merchant Vessel (MV) St Edmunds, who fought in the war 41 years ago with the Harwich crew, were also in attendance.
During their tour the group visited a bench dedicated to the Harwich servicemen who fought in the Second World War.
