A YOUNG entrepreneur has realised a dream after quitting her job as a barista and opening her own café.
Rosie Culley, a former employee of Paddy & Scott’s, has always wanted to own her café - and now she does.
On Tuesday Rosie will finally open the doors to Rose and Thorn, a little café in Main Street, Harwich.

Coffee firm Paddy & Scott’s has worked closely with Rosie to ensure her new venture is set up for success.
From navigating the tricky waters of business plans, branding and negotiations to suppliers, loans and contracts, they covered it all together.
The young coffee shop owner said: "I used to drop by this café before heading to the train station for work.

"When it closed down, I knew I had to make it happen.
"Harwich may be a small town, but it has a large community at its core.
"I have gained a lot of knowledge, and to come back to my roots and provide a new perspective and offering to this incredible community means a great deal to me."
Jon Reed, CEO of Paddy & Scott’s added: "Rosie is now the eighth employee we've helped set up their own business in recent times.
"We're not just about selling coffee, we're committed to fuelling ambition."
