A MAN who was trapped with his dog inside a boat had to be rescued by firefighters.
Fire crews were called to Mistley Quay on Wednesday evening after the man’s boat was wedged in between a ship and the dock.
Poor weather conditions had blown the boat off course, and a low tide had left the boat 12ft away from the dock.
Crews had to work hard to rescue the man and his dog, managing to get them to safety by 9.43pm.
