AN uninsured driver who crashed into a parked car and injured her passengers has been allowed to keep her licence.
Faye Bowers, 46, was driving a BMW in Harwich Road, Mistley, on February 23 when she crashed.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard she was uninsured and caused damage to both vehicles. She also failed to report the incident to the police.
Bowers, of Palfrey Heights, Brantham, admitted failing to report an accident and driving without insurance and without due care and attention.
She was ordered to pay £390 in costs, a surcharge and fine and handed eight points on her licence.
