THOUSANDS of bikers joined a charity ride from Epping to Harwich to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the annual EHAAT Motorcycle Run, which has raised thousands of pounds for the charity.
The convoy of more than 4,000 riders was led by Radio Essex's Martin Day, who joined his fellow presenter Paul Jason on the finish line.
Unfortunately, the run was delayed by about an hour due to a car crash on the A12, near Kelvedon.
Bikers stood in the blistering heat, fully clothed in their leather apparel, as they waited for the road to be reopened.
However, the bikers' community spirit brought them all together as riders shared water and conversation while they waited.
Bikers raced to the finish line where hundreds of supporters looked on with wide smiles before everyone gathered at The Green for Harwich's Free Family Fun Day.
The whole event raised thousands of pounds for the life-saving charity.
