A MAN and woman have been transported to hospital with injuries after a car crashed into a former pub.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a serious smash in The Street, Bradfield, near Manningtree, on Thursday at about 7.30am.
Two ambulances, four ambulance officer vehicles and four Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles attended the scene, alongside police.
Upon arrival, the emergency workers found a vehicle which has crashed into The Strangers, a former pub which has since become home to a caravan site.
Paramedics treated a man and a woman, both in their fifties, before taking them to Colchester Hospital while other crews stayed on-scene to support firefighters in making the building safe.
