POLICE officers from Harwich spoke to youngsters about personal safety and the role of the police.

Last week, Police Community Support Officers visited the Little Oakley Beavers, part of The Oakleys and Ramsey Scout Group.

Writing on social media, an Essex Policespokesman said: “Great fun was had by all the young Beavers and their leaders, as the photos show the uniform and hats were a big hit.

"Thank you to the Little Oakley Beavers for making the Officers very welcome, it was a pleasure to meet you all.”
