A HARWICH woman will be allowing the highest bidder to cut off her hair when she braves the shave for a cancer charity.

Emma Reader is taking on the Brave The Shave to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This will be taking place on April 27, 2024 at the Harwich and Parkeston Football Club.

Although this is still some time away, Emma is looking to get the word out.

Emma said all are welcome to attend, with the event having free entry.

There will also be a raffle with prizes on the day.

She added: “I’ll also be auctioning to the highest bidder in the room to cut my ponytail off.

“All money raised on the day will be going to Macmillan.

“I’ve got a go fund me page on my Facebook as well, still working on time for the day depending on the number of people turning up.

“I will need people to let me know if they are coming on the day.”
