SINCE its debut almost a decade ago, the Harwich Ale Trail has become an annual and popular event in the town's calendar.
Co-ordinated by Paul Mellor of Wharf Brewery and Shiraz Turvey, the Ale Trail began in 2015 after the town's Winter Ale Festival was cancelled at short notice.
Since 2016, it has normally been held over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Following a successful mid-year event this year, ale enthusiasts are now looking ahead to the Winter Ale Trail, taking place from Thursday, November 30 to Sunday, December 3.
The pubs involved are Alma Inn, British Flag, Crown Post, The Globe, New Bell Inn and The Stingray.
Let's take a look back at some of the memories from previous Ale Trails.
