AN unwanted boat from a port authority has been given a new lease of life after being donated to young students at a school in Dovercourt.
Mayflower Primary School, in Main Road, has been gifted a small and unwanted boat from the Harwich Haven Authority.
The vessel, is painted white on the outside and light blue in its interior and has Darciana written along its side, will now provide pupils will "real-life learning".
Yvonne Parker, forest school team leader at Mayflower Primary School, said: "We very much support the circular economy ethos and the boat will provide our children with real-life learning experiences within our outdoor play and learning area."
