A MISTLEY care home which supports adults with learning difficulties has released a new Christmas card collection designed by its residents.
Acorn Village, in Clacton Road, has just put out their 2023 Christmas card collection, with each of the five cards designed by residents at the home.
Angenita Hardy-Teekens, deputy manager of the Creative Craft Centre, said: “Christmas themed activities are always popular and through our art sessions participants were able to be very creative and come up with these lovely card designs.
"As we only print a few they get snapped up quickly!”
Limited cards are available to be purchased from the Acorn Village Charity shop, in Manningtree's High Street, and at The Walled Garden Café, which is onsite at Acorn Village and open weekdays from 10am until 4pm.
These fun and festive cards can be purchased in packs of five for £6.
Residents at Acorn Village have been up to more seasonal fun through their Christmas themed cooking, parties and theatre visit to see the Red Rose Chain Christmas production and a trip to the zoo.
