A GP surgery in Dovercourt has been taken out of special measures after inspectors found "significant improvements".
The latest inspection- of Fronks Road Surgery took place in September but the results were not published until this month.
In 2022 the practice had been rated inadequate by the Care Quality Commission after inspectors found breaches of regulation and "a lack of clinical and managerial leadership".
In the latest inspection it was found services were now good with the exception of how well led it was which was found to require improvement.
Inspectors said the practice had put in place a "comprehensive action plan" since the previous visit and had since implemented new systems, processes, and employed new staff.
The report said the practice was now being taken “out of special measures” and announced the “conditions imposed on the provider’s registration” were to be removed.
After reviewing patient records in line with data sharing, conducting staff interview, and a short site visit, the report said: “The way the practice was led and managed promoted the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care”.
“No breaches of regulations” were identified but the GP practice was advised to continue to make improvements.
With three GP doctors, the practice delivers services to a patient population of 4,800 and has a nursing team of five.
Inspector Dr Sean O’Kelly said: "Patients received effective care and treatment that met their needs.
"Staff dealt with patients with kindness and respect and involved them in decisions about their care.
"Complaints were managed in a timely manner and learning shared with staff for improvement in the service and development.
"The way the practice was led and managed promoted the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care."
He concluded: "I am taking this service out of special measures and the conditions that were imposed on the provider’s registration will be removed.
"This recognises the significant improvements that have been made to the quality of care provided by this service."
