A THEATRE group is bringing a classic fairytale to the stage in Brantham.
The Brantham Amateur Theatrical Society is rehearsing for its panto, Snow White, which will be performed in February.
Written by member Lisa Buttler, it tells the familiar story, but with a twist to the original, involving a lot of humour and songs.
The society is renowned for its high-standard productions and has done a wide range of shows, from well-known musicals to pantomimes.
Snow White will be performed each night from February 20 to February 24 at 7.30pm, as well as a matinee at 2.30pm on February 24, at Brantham Village Hall.
Tickets for the show are available for £12 for adults and £6 for children and can be purchased online as well as at Guys and Dolls Hair Salon in Acacia Way, Brantham.
The society is currently running two theatre groups, the Junior BATS and the Teen BATS, where children and teenagers can engage in learning new skills such as how to set up a production, write their own scripts and develop a stage presence.
Recent productions of Teen BATS included “Death Takes the Train” and “Dark Road”, which received good reviews.
