NATIONWIDE is set to give its branch in Dovercourt a facelift after a rebrand.
The building society has applied for permission to install new signs bearing Nationwide's new logo after it unveiled a new identity for the first time since 1987 in October last year.

The cash machine outside the branch in High Street could also get a new look.
As the branch is in a conservation area, the county council's heritage team has sought clarification over the illuminated elements of the signs.
Tendring Council has the final say.
