HUNDREDS of incredible acts will be performing at the world's largest indoor music festival... just one overnight ferry trip away from Harwich.
The North Sea Jazz Festival takes place over three days at the Ahoy Centre in Rotterdam, with ferries to the event leaving directly from Harwich.
The quickest route available from Harwich to Rotterdam includes a five-hour ferry ride across the ocean and a 30-minute drive to the big city.
Options to travel via train or plane are also available.
Welcoming around 80,000 music fans each year, the music festival takes place from July 12 to July 14.
This summer the festival expects more than a thousand musicians, spread out over 150 performances and fifteen different stages.
Huge names such as Sting, Raye, Corinne Bailey Rae, Masego, Sampha, Noname, Jamie Cullum, Brittany Howard and Benjamin Clementine, are among more than 100 acts that will perform this year.
Next to a firm base of jazz, many genres will pass by, such as blues, soul, funk, hip hop, world, pop and much more.
The event's first day of festivities includes acts from Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Sun-Mi Hong Quintet, Laufey, Reuben James, Smino, Vulfpeck, and plenty more amazing acts.
On July 13 Ancient Infinity Orchestra, Andre 3000, Ibrahim Maalouf and the trumpets of Michel-Ange, Cisco Swank, Lizz Wright, Manu Delago & Mad About Lemon and dozens more act will perform.
On the festival's last day, Sting, Butcher Brown, Sampha, The Cavemen, Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, Venna and other brilliant performers will all be putting on a brilliant show.
Since its inaugural year in 1976, the festival has built up an amazing reputation having hosted a string of musical icons such as Amy Winehouse and Adele.
Originally taking place in Nederlands Congresgebouw in The Hague, the festival moved to the bigger location of Rotterdam in 2006.
Weekend tickets are €340.00 (£291.59) and single-day tickets cost €135.00 (£115.78), with other options varying in prices also available.
