A HARWICH man has been charged with several domestic abuse, fraud, and driving offences – following concerns about a woman in her 80s.
Essex police said in August 2022, they received reports of concerns for the welfare of a woman in her 80s in Harwich with concerns she may have been a crime victim.
In their investigation, officers identified a suspect, and arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of two counts of fraud.

In a separate case, Mr Thomson has also been charged with two counts of perverting the course of justice, driving without due care and attention, using a mobile while driving, speeding and possession of an article for use in fraud.
Mr Thompson was due to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on April 10.
