A four-vehicle crash has led to a section of the A120 being closed.
Traffic control originally reported at 10.34am that the A120 was blocked due to an incident on the A120 Tinker Street westbound from the B1352 Main Road to the junction of The Maltings.
The incident has caused traffic congestion to build in the area.
The A120 in both directions at the junction of the Maltings is now closed, according to traffic control.
Essex Police has been contacted for a statement on the incident.
