A BEST-SELLING author will be speaking at the Harwich Museum next month about her latest novel.
Glynis Peters, who lives in Dovercourt, is a historical fiction author who made her fame as the author of The Secret Orphan, which made her a USA Today, Amazon and Toronto Star best-seller.
Born and raised in Dovercourt, Glynis was a self-published author for 11 years before being approached by the editorial director of HarperCollins with a title for a book.
Glynis also writes under the name of Amber Raven, penning romantic fiction including next novel The Weybourne Witches, which is due to be published in October.
The Orphan’s Secret Library is due to be published in November, and is a stand-alone read unconnected to her The Red Cross Orphans series.
The unnamed fourth book of The Red Cross Orphans series is due to be published in November 2025.
Glynis is speaking at the Harwich Museum on June 8 from 11am to 12noon.
To book a seat, email Harwich Museum at groupbookings@harwichmuseum.co.uk.
