FIVE postcodes in Manningtree will be affected by a power shortage this morning following work being done.
Work is being carried out on an overhead high voltage electricity line fault which has caused a power cut, expected to affect over 250 homes.
As this power cut was unexpected, they were unable to give an advanced notice.
The postcodes affected are CO11 1, CO11 2, CO12 5, CO16 0 and CO7 8.
This power shortage will likely return between 10:30-11:30.
