HARWICH Museum will have a busy July, with talks, a quiz night and plants for sale.
On July 6 and July 7 Harwich Museum will be taking part in the Harwich Secret Gardens, selling plants as well as bric-a-brac, books and the £5 guides for the weekend-long event.
On July 11 there will be a quiz night at the United Services Club, with doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
On July 13, there will be a ‘2 Unsung Heroes’ talk by Elise Cirsch at 11am, which will explore the lives of two Second World War heroes from the Fleischmann family.
There will be a coffee morning from 10 am to 1pm on July 18 with a raffle in aid of Home-Start Harwich.
On July 27 there will be an illustrated talk on Captain Fryatt, who was executed by the Germans in 1916 and was later given a state funeral after the end of the First World War.
Harwich Museum is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, from February to December.
