HARWICH’S REDOUBT Fort will be closed all day next week due to a lack of volunteers.
The Harwich Redoubt, built from 1808 to 1810, is now being restored by The Harwich Society.
The fort is normally open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm from May 1 to September 30.
However, due to a shortage of volunteers, it will be closed all day on August 1.
